Mamasamas - Ponte Vedra Beach

Eating was very, very good. we had the pasta w/mushroom sauce and enjoyed the fresh noodles and the ingenious cream sauce. we had the meatballs as an appetizer, and they were also excellent! but two things: 1) if they have never been here, the restaurant is really in a building next to the american legion hall, and they can go directly in front of the house door. I say that because there are no turtles that we could find on the road or on the building itself, so we were worried that we were at the right place. 2) the building is a closed terrace. of course we have probably chosen the coldest night of the year in palm valley to get out. while they go a few terrace heaters, and we came warm dressed, they should be aware and dress appropriately. that said, we will definitely go back, as eating was excellent!

Will definitely go back! Classic Italian food. High quality, made with attention to detail. Stacy and Lucca were excellent staff. The food is a shout out to how simple Italian food can be amazingly delicious.

Tried them out for the first time. A lot of buzz about this place and the food. What an experience. The food was absolutely outstanding. We pretty much ordered the entire menu. Nic hits a home run with the quality of food and his family recipes. Service was awesome by Luca and made great recommendations on what to order and describing the food. The wines were great as well. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. Very casual and such an experience like being in Nic’s house as he cooks some amazing food. This is a must try and is off the beaten path. No doubt an experience to share with friends and family. Well done Mamasamas. Watch out for the Limoncello.

Where to begin? The arancini is the most scrumptious appetizer. Who knew something fried could be so light and airy? For dinner I had the rigatoni arrabiatta, when I tell you that I’m going to crave that dish! The place is quaint and dreamy and the staff is welcoming. 10/10 would recommend!
