Seasoning Pot - Ponoka

Hard to find good Chinese food and this place is just okay. You get tons of food and it's hot but the quality is not the best and the service needs improvement. We found them to be impolite and impatient with you while you decide.

All is tasteless, and oily. Cheap it is, but you buy what you get.Not really a nice place to dine. Buffet is cold on top of everything.

Bland food and not a great experience I suggest to avoid the buffet. The curry chicken was alright but under cooked

We ordered a dinner for 8 plus three more dishes for a dinner meal for 11 of us while camping at the Ponoka Stampede. The food was ready when we were promised and the portions were large. It turned out there were only 9 of us eating but we could have ordered a dinner for 8 without any extras and there would have been enough. Nearly half was left over for lunch the next day. The food good and the chow main had lots of meat in it. So did the rice dish. The chicken balls were a bit heavy on batter and light on chicken though. Shrimp was coated about right for my tastes. Not the best ever Chinese food but better than average.

Although this restaurant may not be exceptional, you can't go wrong with good food at a reasonable price.
