Cardinal Cafe - Pompton Lakes

I really love this place. The owner of the lady is such a good person. It is extremely efficient, almost as if it was born for hospitality. I really can't express in words how graceful and great she is at her job. And on the excellent hospitality, the food is also very good... This is easily a 10-star operation. To open in Pompton and stay successful, talks volumes... JOB WELL DONE CARDINAL!!! I always tip them super high quantities and she is always shocked that my tip is usually double or triple my bill but in all honesty I really feel they deserve it... I love this place

Excellent local restaurant with a great menu and a great friendly service. Great breakfast during this visit. Very good tasting coffee and immaculate clean. Free parking on the back or on street parking is available.

The French toast breakfast sandwich was great! Service was great. The food was fast. We will definitely go back.

Very good dinner with a wide selection of dishes. Salad was also fresh. Carl's Omlet is a must if you like gyros. It's a local meeting place for high schoolers, the police and the fire brigade are eating here. The staff is friendly and full of smiles. They support local sports teams. You also speak Spanish! Curiosity?? GO!!!

Very friendly and the place is very comfortable. The servers are very personable. They are great with all ages of customers. You never feel like you are being rushed out.
