Cardinal Cafe - Pompton Lakes

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, and the owner and staff are incredibly welcoming. They've even made an effort to learn everyone's names. If they were open for dinner, we would definitely be dining there as well.

There’s no physical menu available; you have to scan a QR code with your phone. I personally prefer a traditional paper menu. The coffee is quite weak—it tastes more like hot water with a hint of coffee.

What a charming little gem! It's a lovely spot with delicious food and excellent service. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable.

The food and service are good. This was a go to place. However, on our last visit we were charged $2 for an extra empty ! plate. I know times are hard but this is absurd.
