La Forketta Italian - Pompano Beach

Like another Olive Garden. Doesn’t look anything like the Italian food I grew up with

I dined there often because the food is incredible. The service is absolutely wonderful and the people are lovely. You can't find a better place.

An Italian gem snuggled in Pompano on Powerline. Enter a slice of Italy with checkered tables and rustic atmosphere. The lunch specials rotate daily and include a wide variety fish, veal, pork, chicken and pasta. Max the chef is very accommodating. The wait staff is attentive. Lunch has become a routine pilgrimage for excellent Italian cuisine.

Food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Service was above and beyond. I will definitely be back!

A gem!! Authentic absolutely delicious Italian food, real Italian beer, make sure you take home some baguette bread. The atmosphere and service are wonderful, reasonably priced. The owners are Italian born, they know their trade. A must go!
