Bidrage med feedbackLooks can be deceiving from the outside of this strip mall near the lighthouse with a small family run Thai Fusion restaurant . The decor is simple the food is spectacular. Are usually get takeout from here. They are tie papaya salad is great. I order it extra spicy no shrimp with extra cilantro and lime. It comes in a huge container and it's a great deal for nine dollars. They are green curry is thick and flavorful and hits all the right notes for comfort food. Their yellow curry is out of this world make sure to order it spicy And you will not be disappointed. Some of favorite things about this restaurant is you can customize any order! For example if you do not want a certain vegetable no problem; or want something additional added into into your order like chilies in your summer rolls or bamboo in your curry. They will happily make the request without additional charges! I also love how fresh, authentic and flavorful the food is. I've been to many Thai restaurants and I've been eating this style cuisine for three decades: So I can Confidently say they can stand up to the large scale, ornately decorated Thai restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale/south Florida area. Tonight I ordered the summer rolls and asked them to add Bird I Thai chili to the rolls and instead of the typical sauce I requested the traditional spicy Vietnamese dipping sauce that is made with fish sauce garlic and of course more chilies. I am excited to continue trying out the menu and will post more feedback. If you haven't been here I highly recommend visiting it! Can't go wrong with takeout and eating it at the beautiful park overlooking the lighthouse next-door!!!
I had a fantastic dining experience! The roasted pork gyoza was delightful, and the staff was extremely friendly. My orders arrived quickly, and the prices were quite reasonable. Highly recommend!
The food was/has/is good but the recent price hikes make this place less desirable. I realize that they have to make a profit, but when something you ordered 2 weeks ago now is $10 more for the same order? Meh, I'll pass
I 've wanted to go here since reading about them. But usually for lunch, I 'm out the door early and they don 't open here until 12:30. This day, we were doing some things around the house before heading out later than usual so the timing was perfect. When we got to the small shopping center just south of the bridge and the Hillsboro inlet, we recognized where we were. We have been here for a couple other places over the years. We didn 't see the restaurant at first. The marquee signage on the top of the building doesn 't say Dee Day. Were we in the right place? We decided to go to the Ma Now Asian place that was there. As we got close, we saw it said on the window, Dee Day. But it 's not very easy to read. The small restaurant has an extensive menu lots of choices on the Thai menu as well as on the Japanese menu. We were greeted on entry, our orders taken right away, and we were checked on during our dining to see that all was to our liking. And she graciously thanked us for coming. I decided to try a number of different appetizers. I started by sharing their summer roll. When it came with shrimp only as requested , there were 3 rolls ! and two different types of dipping sauces a peanut sauce; and a clear sauce with red pepper flakes . After that, I had their chicken satay. It was bathed in a mild curry marinade, perfectly cooked, and served on bamboo skewers. There were 5 skewers to the order. And two dipping sauces peanut; sweet sauce with diced cucumbers along side. I was planning on eating a couple pieces and bringing some home. But it was so good that I ate them all! After that, I tried their fried gyoza. There were 6 to the order and deep fried and crispy good, but I prefer them sautéed, I think. I took half of these pork dumplings home. In addition to the summer rolls, My husband had their yum woon sin salad. He ordered it medium plus spicy. And He loved it! The salad had clear noodles, large shrimp, red onions, ground pork, scallions, and cilantro over a bed of lettuce with a slightly spicy dressing . Like everything else we got for lunch here, the portion was oversized. So very good food, large portions, and reasonable prices. We look forward to coming back soon to try more items on their menu. This place is a keeper.
