The Noughts And Crosses - Polperro

Fascinating owner with some great stories and such a lovely old building, good and lots of drinks to choose from.

Quite shocked at the number of 5* ratings food was average at best, service was truly shocking. The food offered once inside was not as stated on the outside menu board. The offering also changed from table to table, as described by the barman. Tables left uncleared, dirty glasses left on the bar. One couple came in, sat down and left (we should have done the same) no ice, no cocktails, no dry Martini if you’re visiting Polperro, walk on by and head to The Blue Peter, which is FAR superior (or The Three Pilchards). Such a shame to see the Noughts and Crosses closed,hopefully it will re-open with new owners soon.
