Da Genio - Polcenigo

Pizza was good, basic Italian style pies, many choices. If you are there during daylight hours, after your meal take a short walk down the street to the Sorgente del Gorgazzo, a small deep pond that leads to an underwater cave. Color is beautiful, and if there is enough light you can look down underwater and see a statue of Jesus with arms spread, looking out for the cave divers who go down to explore (and usually, but not always, return).

We sat in a room, no flair no atmosphere, rather cold . We ordered two antipasto of prosciutto and asino cheese: not much to eat and quite expensive for what it was... Pizza: heavy and certainly not what an Italian pizza looks like. Sorry! Expensive, not worth it.

I lived a little over a kilometer away from Da Genio for over two years, and ate there several times a month. Without fail, I was thoroughly satisfied with service, ambiance, and the food. Almost five years have passed since I've eaten there, and I still have dreams of ordering my supper in Italian while there. If you find yourself in or near Polcenigo, you must go to Da Genio. In the questionaire, there isn't an accurate date for my last visit available, so I chose the earliest one that was available.

I recently dined in this pizzeria-restaurant and was satisfied. Nice pizza. dessert, homemade, very good. correct prices. friendly staff. easy parking. recommended.

I repeat grilled fish, superlative, big! eurini na you eat in a giant prawn Argentine and scaling cannocchie nice piece of tuna a nice piece of rombo seppiolina fish unidentified but delicious many elongated potatoes grilled with so much rosemary and thyme. also the solidity of the beautiful house and also the caponata of vegetables. All nonsense. beautiful place. excellent service. I look like one of the restaurants, but I am a nice lover (see other reviews) and try to believe in this place. I was amazed, because I didn't think, but they served us fast and the food was great. the price is honest. recommended!
