Silangang Nayon Park & Restaurant

Silangang Nayon has on "top of the world" view if you want to relax and enjoy the breeze coming from the Tayabas Bay, eat a boodle fight sumptuous or a la carte meal on top of the water, watch a cute airplane deliver the food to the restaurant, feed the fish waiting for morsels of rice for lunch and swim to relax your body.

Our family stayed overnight at their hotel and ate every meal there. We came early in the morning on check in day, some of us went island hopping, some stayed to enjoy the swimming pools. Our rooms were ready by 2pm. They supplied towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo and soap. Rooms had AC and a water heater. The kind owner was there to make sure everything goes smooth for the guests. Their food portions are generous and delicious, especially the seafood. Try kilawin (local ceviche), grilled squid, pork belly, shrimp sinigang (local savory sour soup) and crabs. I hope they chill their fresh coconut in the shell though. It would be perfect for the hot summer days. I also took out a point for breakfast because it was not up to par with lunch and dinner. I hoped for more local fare like fried, dried or smoked fish rather than the chicken pastel and corned beef. I hoped they had an espresso machine. Only 3in1 (coffee, creamer and sugar) powder packs were available. Those products have way too much sugar. The rice and scrambled eggs were OK though. We enjoyed the sea breeze eating in the open air huts of their restaurant.

Silangan Nayon never fails to give sumptuous food that totally compliments the beauty of their property. Must try is their Capiz, the buttered ones.

I was there with my boyfriend and it was amazing! They have a little park with zoo there, so it´s also perfect for children. The restaurant itself is on the sea (on a kind of raft island which you can reach by a footbridge - see the picture). The food comes down from the kitchen in a sweet cable car on a railway which is also a cute idea. And the food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Also when we were there, there was a wedding celebration on the other raft and they had buffet and everything. So it´s also a great place for events.
