The Stoke Cafe - Plymouth

The staff at this restaurant is absolutely delightful, always wearing a smile and extremely courteous. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, a true bargain! I have had a 10/10 experience every time I have dined here, with generous portions and quick service.

I recently had the best breakfast I can recall at this restaurant. The ingredients were top-notch, and the dishes were cooked and presented with care. My only small complaint is about the prepackaged butter portions, as I prefer not to use sachets, butter pats, or squeezy packs. I understand that it may not be feasible for the restaurant to provide a dish of butter on the table, so I suggest offering it as a menu option, such as asking customers if they would like their toast buttered. But aside from that tiny issue, I was very impressed and will definitely be bringing my team back next week. The staff were also lovely, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Lovely staff plus lovely breakfast equals a great dining experience in my book.

The owner of the Blockhouse Pub was rude to me and the customer service was unacceptable. I decided to leave without ordering a drink. When I went to the cafe for breakfast during Stoke fate, the owner was abusive and told me I was not welcome. I left because there are many other choices available. The owner seemed arrogant and bragged about the amount of money he had spent on the cafe or pub, thinking this gave him the right to treat locals poorly. I will not be recommending this pub or cafe to anyone. There are plenty of other places to go with better service.

Very clean. Prices competitive. Food superb. £7.95 for a large breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend. Staff friendly.

Lovely brunch. Couldn't fault it !!! Took a while to arrive but definitely worth the wait. Lovely and clean too !!! Would definitely return again and again
