Bidrage med feedbackWe had a generally positive experience at the restaurant, despite the slow service caused by understaffing. Additionally, the roasts were not served very hot. However, the meal was delicious.
The food at this restaurant was excellent, surpassing its usual quality. However, the service was very poor, despite the lack of a busy crowd. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and then completely ignored for 15 minutes. My husband had to seek out a waiter, only to find them all chatting at the bar. The same situation occurred when we wanted to pay.
We arrived at the restaurant after making a reservation online, only to be informed that they were fully booked and had no record of our reservation, despite receiving a confirmation email.
Really disappointed as previously had a great experience. We were told there was a 20 min wait and we waited a good 30 minutes. Food was warm at the most not hot, then when we ordered desert the ice cream that accompanied it was running like it had been standing for a time. We did not have time to complain or have a new meal cooked as we were on our way to the airport to start our holiday and the fog was getting pretty thick. We have always gone to the toby carvery before holiday but thought we would have a change this year, will be going back to toby in the future if things do not change
Booked online. Quiet inside despite the chaotic roadworks outside. We had a quiet table. The server was very helpful. Good range of food. Would recommend
