Bidrage med feedbackExcellent food however a disappointing service. Multiple staff were available however lacked attention to detail. Our water jug would remain empty unless prompt for more water, our cutlery were casually placed by the younger waiter. Forgotten orders. During our entire 3 course meal, no one cares to take away the empty drink glasses or ask whether we would like any more drinks. In general, 3/5 for service and 5/5 for food. The food was impeccable, well presented and en point. The 'manager ' walked past our table a few times, looking over the table, but didn 't notice empty drink glasses, empty water jug etc quite disappointed at the standards of services for such a lovely venue.
Love this place.Great food warm welcome by the hard working staff and comfortable clean environment. No wonder so hard to get in here always busy. But really is well worth it.Great for specail occasions. Will always come back any time.Wonderful cream teas and mouth watering Sunday dinners. As well as all the other dishes they serve. No complaints at all. Thankyou everyone you work so hard.
Thursday lunch for four friends We have had many good meals here in the past This time was disappointing, at best the food was average .
My friends recommended St Elizabeth's to us, and our first visit did not disappoint. The restaurant has a lovely setting and beautiful interior decor. The menu had a wide variety of options, and our starters arrived promptly after ordering. The main courses were generous, but we all managed to make room for dessert. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, and the restaurant was able to accommodate dietary restrictions for one of our group who is a coeliac. The bill was reasonable, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning for another meal soon.
We were warmly greeted at the Reception and escorted to our reserved table in the Darcy Room, where we were served tea. The room was bright, fresh, and comfortable, with beautiful views of the grounds. The food was presented on an elegant tiered tray overflowing with delicious treats. The finger sandwiches were tasty and fresh, the fancy pastries were delightful, and the scones were large but delicate, served with plenty of jam and clotted cream. We were unable to finish all of the food, but the staff kindly provided us with boxes to take the leftovers home. The owner, Teresa, came by to check on us and was charming and friendly. It was clear that she leads by example and has a great relationship with her staff. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.
