Caffe Gallerie - Plymouth

The staff at this restaurant are always friendly and welcoming with a smile. However, I'm not sure if they are still open as I have gone by a couple of times and it has been closed. It would be a shame if this café were to shut down completely.

A friend recommended this place for coffee, but we found it to be a strange mix of mediocre art, sculptures, and random decor items alongside drinks and snacks. We've noticed that it hasn't been open for the past few weeks, even during school holidays and Easter. It seems like it may have closed down, as there are no signs of activity and the local press has listed it among other shut down businesses. Keep an eye out to see if it reopens or if a new business takes its place.

During my visit to the Plymouth Christmas markets, a stall holder recommended this restaurant to me. I found the surroundings to be very pleasant, as the restaurant is located in a gallery with impressive wall exhibits and items for sale. The food options were excellent, with a wide variety of choices per meal. The portions were generous and the quality of the food and presentation were excellent. The service provided by the waiting and counter staff was both tasty and very pleasant. In terms of value for money, this restaurant is top-notch. I would highly recommend it to others visiting Plymouth, and I would definitely revisit next time I am in the area.

We usually visit one of the coffee shop chains, but as I was on my own I popped in here and it made a nice change! I only had tea and cake, which was very nice and also it was nice that it was brought to the table. Sometimes when you're on your own you have to order your drink etc then wander round to find somewhere to sit.....but not here. And very nicely decorated with art work. A shame about the one toilet though upstairs......shared by men and women! Although it was clean at the time.

Suzie and Charlie have turned Caffee Gallerie into a very relaxing place to call in for a coffee my favourite is the Cappuccino with your friend , or like us , enjoy a delicious omelette, mines the ham cheese peppers absolutely delicious,along with an abundance of tasty crisp salad, we have it every time , why change when it tastes so lovely , and as for the service,what more could you ask for ,friendly helpful , Beautiful surroundings covered in the most interesting works of art, it top marks from us ,
