Bella Italia - Plymouth

We had a very active toddler with us but as soon as the pasta and balloons appeared we had relative peace! The staff who looked after us were fab and very family friendly. Food was ok, nice and tasty but nothing out of this world, but very nice. Good they take Tesco clubcard vouchers!

Not the best Bella ive been to. food was a long time coming and the anti pasta starter was very little in the way of variety and heavy on the green leaf. main course again was a wait and the food arrived a little cold. service from the waitress was good but she seemed a little rushed and the kitchen was clearly struggling. not great but its Bella and it is a run of the mill outlet.

I went into this Bella Itlaia when I was away for a few days in Plymouth. It was a Tuesday evening and quite quiet however it took almost minutes for our order to be taken. Once the food did arrive it was delicious but no one came up to us during the meal to make sure everything was ok or if we needed any drinks. The staff were polite and the prices reasonable, but when I asked for the bill I had to go to the till, where I waited for a further minutes, before someone would run it through. If you are after nice Italian food, but are prepared to wait then this may be up your street.

One of my favourite restaurants at the moment they accept Tesco clubcard vouchers. I always seem to have Marco Polo for the main course, which is duck strips in a plum sauce. It's located right in the town centre, so really easy to get to. There's a large car park behind it which costs per hour. The staff are really friendly and usually speak a few words in Italian to get you in the mood for your meal. Prices are average the main courses are around each, starters about each. The garlic bread they serve is also very nice, Overall a nice place to visit and well recommended.

Oooooh! Scummy Italian food and intensely flavoured coffee. A nice place to go very close to the city centre.
