Wence's Restaurant - Pleasant Hill

Server very unfriendly. Asked if we wanted drinks and when I said water was fine for me he didn’t even look at my companion just walked away. Food wise I got the crab Benedict and it had a lot of shells and the poached eggs were cold. Guessing precooked and they didn’t reheat them. Waiter picked up our signed check while we were still at table. Not typical etiquette. Saw him deliver a check to another table with their good. Very poor service.

This is a fabulous local restaurant that has delicious food, impecable service and is reasonably priced Our favorites are the Lobster Chowder a meal by itself the Sea Bass This is a must try restaurant if you are in the East Bay!

Only complaint is it is way too loud inside need to improve on acoustics.

The food used to be amazing. Now I find it just okay.

We opened Sunday Brunch and as such had the inside Dining Room pretty much to ourselves. Nice ambiance. Excellent service. Amazing value as our Crab Omlette and Benedect were both under $22!! Great place for lunch with outside seating as well.
