Holy moly the crab sandwich on soft french roll (toasted) was a 10.How I didn't go here years ago when I moved to Pleasant Hill I don't know.Super friendly family shop....And now they take credit cards!Eat away with total confidence. Going back next week.Owner gave me a sample of their homemade clam chowder. That was also excellent. Next time I'm getting another crab sandwich and a clam chowder.

We've ordered here a few times now. The place is truly a gem! I'd say it's the best clam chowder on this side of the east bay. Only downside is EVERYTIME we have placed an order online is they are NEVER open in time and we end up waiting longer for our food. First time was understandable but It's not convenient when this happens often as I go there during my lunch break from work. Owners should update their hours to reflect this. If the food was not good and if the owner wasn't as friendly as she is, I wouldn't continue to come back here. I also read they've been here for almost 20 years and I'm all about keeping local businesses up and running with support. I'd just advise if you order from here don't expect them to open or have your food ready til close to 1p lol.

I was doing a job in this area and decided to eat local food and not chain. The service was wonderful and the 2 items i had was so delicious. The clam chowder in a bread bowl was so good with the bread and crackers. I also had the hot pastrami sandwich which was doubly good. Great food keep it up.Food: 5/5
