El Puerto - Pleasant Hill

I eat Mexican food at least 3-4 times a week and found this diamond in the middle of the pleasant hill was a blessing. The staff was great, my husband forgot to leave our server, he can't have a red sauce, but if we let her come to our plates, she was so sweet and understood. I can honestly say it was the BEST Chile Rellenos I had. We'll visit her again and again.

New year, 2022. My first visit! I had the lunch special, the rice, a burrito and a tamale. The second picture should be first as I received my chips and salsa together with my unsweetened iced tea immediately. I was glad that the chips and salsa were delicious and the tea was simply not too weak or strong). The meal was very satisfying and had to take half of it to go. I ordered a small frozen margarita $5.99), lunch special $6.99) and tea $2.50) for a total of $16.95 with tax included. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says, I'm back!

The Hawaiian Fajitas shared with my daughter. Meat arrived in a grilled pineapple half. Flavors with the heated pineapple were wonderful! Don't forget to scratch the pineapple, mmmmm! Was delicious! Service was friendly and timely!

Great people. Great food. I'm super picky with my Mexican food. This is the only place I really like. I tried most menus and found nothing I don't like.

Simply put, this place is amazing. The people make it great, and the food is even better. My family and I love going here, the staff all know us by name and we know theirs. They are great with kids... (Take kids here for birthdays) you will love it. Be sure to tell them it is their bday. I have tried many things on the menu. The portions are huge and I usually split my meal with another person. The chips and salsa are made daily and fresh, they have great drinks and food selection and options are awesome.
