Bidrage med feedbackWe went to lunch because a local recommend this place. it was really good. we had chicken wings that came with rice, sauces and tortillas. it was fantastic! our drinks were also good. I would recommend eating here. we are coming back to the final!
We stayed in a sweet air b n b near this place and when we first saw, we were afraid. we are from Canada and everyone tells them that they do not eat “drink food” but we decided to go for them and are young. we are happy that we! the wings are the best and the lady handroll, press and cooks their tortillas exactly there for them. the milkshakes are amazing and the prices are reasonable! we ate every day here and can't wait to go back.
Love to eat in los asados. her bbq chicken is amazing. comes with hand made delicious tortillas and some delicious sauces. the prices are also really good. large for large groups they have many tables in the back and can treat large groups of people. to go they can go their bbq wing, huh, ripen or gay too! but early because they close at 18 o'clock.
Great family run restaurant. Definitely worth the short taxi ride down to Calle 90. The barbacoa is amazing. Make sure you try the wings and ribs.
About 5 years ago I spent a year traveling by motorcycle in Central and South America, and fell in love with the many roadside asado restaurants I found along the way. They usually offered delicious BBQ'd meat along wiith all the side dishes. A full...meal for a good price. Since that time, my trips to Latin America have been after a plane ride, and without the wheels needed to find these kind of asado restaurants. My big regret at the moment is that I only just found this restaurant, 3 weeks in to a 4 week stay in PDC! We sampled the chicken and pork, ordering two 1/4 meals for two of us, along with two side dishes of rice and beans. The table was set with two different types of salsa, one was a red (aji) chili base, the other was more of a pepper (pimiento) relish with a bit of sweetness to it. A small bowl of a slaw-type salad was included too, and a basket of fresh tortillas. We watched a woman in the corner making the tortillas, pressing them, then heating them on a griddle before filling the basket. Our meat arrived in a clay dish, we were surprised by how much there was considering we ordered the small portions. The chicken had crispy skin with a slight salty taste, and the meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and not dry at all. The pork had some kind of rub on it, salty and delicious. It too was perfectly cooked. It brought back memories of the asado restaurants of my past, and I was not disappointed. This place is good. Our dinner for two, including soft drinks and tip, amounted to only 180 pesos. Vamos a volver pronto!
