I spend a lot of time in the area of 10 and 10 and Paul's Coffee Stop.....The other day I stopped in here and Really Enjoyed it very much.!!! Something more to add to my wonderful places in Playa del Carmen John
Great food! Traditional ceviche done right. Great staff (Gil) taking the extra step giving me great local advice for things to see and do that aren't in the brochures.
We went for lunch, we checked the menu and picked random something. We didn't know what the dish was. We had both a house special leche ceviche with shrimps, fried squids, and more. We didn't like it at all. You get a lot of shrimps, but also a lot of red onion... and "tiger milk" don't know what that should be. It's maybe a good kitchen for someone else, but for us it was more like a cold fish soup with red onion taste.
This restaurant has been in Mercado Paseo Del Carmen for a while, we decided to try the most popular dishes (Leches de tigres) this is a Peruvian sauce, an extremely important component of the delicious ceviche, started with some tempura and al pastor shrimp tacos, later the traditional shrimp and squid ceviche with the regular sauce leche de tigre (delicious btw!) and one with black sauce that includes oysters, clams, shrimp and octopus, they offer a wide variety of cocktails, beers and soft drinks, the passion fruit water is a good option if you want non alcoholic beverages, the prices are reasonable.
