Casa Sofia Playa del Carmen

We passed this restaurant a few times and it looked really nice so we booked it for the last night of our vacation. worst mistake ever! the restaurant itself is beautiful, but they are completely underused 3 out of our 4 meals came out...cold and had to be sent back within 2 minutes, eating came out again, without doubt it was microwave. the pasta of my daughter was saturated with butter and my steak was pure member. this is our last night in vacation so wanted a good meal, but it was terrible. when the bill did not come a offer of a reduction. when I couldn't add a tip, the waiter wasn't happy and he started complaining. if the family again in pdc we will certainly give casa sofia a miss. we had a few great dinners while on holiday, but do not decide tonight. very poor!

The people who rate this place less than 5 stars do not know what they are talking, the best tortellini in the world and the risotto is amazing!

Casa sofia is an excellent restaurant with fantastic service that eat is top quality and very affordable. I would recommend to everyone!

Arrived here with great expectations because of a friend, at the beginning we where ignored completely, but once we got the water attention everything went great, super recomendable.
