Los Cabanas - Platte City

I recently moved to the area and was on the lookout for a truly authentic Mexican restaurant, and I found it! The chiles rellenos were the best I've ever had. The service was excellent too!

We arrived early on a Saturday night and experienced excellent service! The food was fresh and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place. Just so you know, I've been here twice—during my first visit, I loved the street tacos, but on my second trip, I tried the Pick 3 plate. I usually stick to what I know, but I decided to switch it up this time. The tostaguac, fried beef taco, and cheese enchilada with onions were all fantastic! The fresh guacamole really sealed the deal; you can tell it's made in-house.

My wife and I dined there on May 15th, and we had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were outstanding. I highly recommend giving them a try!

We've ordered takeout from this restaurant twice and have been very satisfied each time. Just a heads-up: the portions are quite large! Dining in can be a challenge right now, but they appear to be managing well with masking and distancing between tables. Overall, they make a great addition to the downtown square.
