Vivace Plantation

Service was very slow and it was not that busy. Food was good but not great. A little expensive for what they offer

This was my fourth or fifth time at Vivace. They have always been consistent with their food and service except this time. My friend and I ordered the branzino. For some reason, her fish portion and everything else was twice the size of my portion. We ordered two bottles of wine, both good but it took a very long time to get our servers attention when we needed her. She was ok but definitely didn’t have the most warming personality. I felt like she felt put out every time we needed something. Everyone else liked their food. I will go back, because I usually have a good experience. Just seemed like an off night.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. Decided to try and we weren’t disappointed. We were seated fast without having to check in our reservation. Portions were good sized. My Veal Parm was average at best. A little tough and not memorable. My sons cheese ravioli with Alfredo and chicken was amazing tho. I found it a little pricey, wine was more than it would have been elsewhere for the same glass. Other son had the carne Pizza it was perfect and they remembered the No Cheese. Husband had fish and said it was good. Overall it was solid. Owner/manager checked with us often to make sure everything was ok. Waitress was polite and knew what she was doing. Biggest complaint was my veal and dirty silverware.

Nice charming dining restaurant. Staff extremely nice and knowledgeable about wine selection. Food was tasty and generous portions. We had the calamari which was excellent. And the linguini with clam sauce was tasty with fresh basil and other herbs.

Excellent pizza! Neighborhood favorite. Enjoyed dinner with friends.
