Wooden Spoon Diner - Plant City

The food is consistently outstanding. However, our server Crystal was quite delayed in attending to us; someone else had to take our drink orders. When she finally arrived at our table, she was finishing a text message and seemed to have forgotten what we had ordered, needing to return to check. She didn’t bring our food to us and didn’t follow up to see how we were doing. The host ended up bringing our meal instead.

I've been here a couple times and they never disappoint! Between 5 of us, we had eggs benedict, cinnamon roll pancakes, an omelet, a breakfast sandwich, and chocolate chip pancakes. Everything was cooked to perfection! (LOVE their grits! Restaurant was clean and the service was awesome.

I ordered the fried seafood dish, and it was fantastic and hearty. The crab cake was unlike any I've had before, but I loved that it had much more crab than filling. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and everyone at my table was extremely pleased with both the food and the service.

We were passing through for a little league football game and decided to grab a bite to eat. The portion sizes were awesome. Plenty of food to enjoy.We tried the Western (Denver)Omelet,Cinnamon roll pancakes w/ bacon, Half biscuits w/ sausage and gravy. For our daughter she had the French toast with bacon. She loved it. If you in the area and hungry. You won’t be disappointed. Give it a try.The wait was super short. However, it did start to fill up to capacity once we got seated. Simple and straightforward—it's as if they've never heard of extravagance. However, the service is excellent, the food is incredibly tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. I'm definitely coming back to try their lunch. Honestly, I don't need any extras!
