Tani's For Dessert - Plant City

The café features a lovely sit-down service setting, making it casual enough for a laid-back outing yet elegant enough for a special occasion or date night. On this visit, we were seated at an extension of the restaurant to enjoy our desserts. We started with coffee ($2.25) and cappuccino ($3.50). For our sweet treat, we chose a special dessert: a lemon blueberry mini-filled cake drizzled with raspberry sauce, accompanied by a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream ($8.00). The cake had a light lemon flavor complemented by fresh blueberries—it was soft on the inside and just crunchy enough on the outside. It was the ideal balance of sweet and tart, and I would happily order it again. We also tried the bread pudding with a salted caramel sauce and a side of vanilla bean ice cream ($6.25). The bread pudding had a perfect texture and was rich in vanilla flavor, while the salted caramel sauce was light and delicious. The service was warm, friendly, and offered just the right pace. The café features beautiful tables for two or four, dressed with white tablecloths and linen napkins. Soft classic rock, soul, and R&B music played at an enjoyable volume, allowing for easy conversation. The menu boasts a variety of cakes, pastries, crepes, coffee, espresso drinks, sodas, and a selection of wines priced between $6 and $8.75 per glass. This is a fantastic dessert café, and we plan to return and bring friends and family along.

We had the pleasure of having Tani create our wedding cake for our special day on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Wishing Well Barn. After our first tasting at Tani’s For Dessert, we were so impressed that we immediately chose her as our cake baker and didn’t consider any other options! If that doesn’t speak to her talent, I don’t know what does! Tani is an exceptional baker and cake decorator. We met with her twice, and each time was a delightful experience. She helped us maximize our budget and guided us in selecting a cake that would be perfect for us and our wedding guests. Her cakes are absolutely divine! This is an incredible spot for dessert! Everything is visually stunning, but the taste is even more impressive. I visited with my family and had a wonderful evening indulging in sweet treats. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee, and it might just be the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. Additionally, the service was delightful and friendly. This place is truly fantastic! If you're in search of a great dessert destination, look no further. I returned today for another amazing experience!

Stopped to get some sweetness from the bakery, but ended up eating in the restaurant! It didn't disappoint! We ordered the Bananas care and the red velvet cake! Both were so delicious! Perfection!

Went here tonight for a quick dessert, was a different place then we thought, didn’t expect it to be a sit down restaurant. But the ambience was really cool and perfect for the occasion. Will be back both cakes where amazing and totally worth the price.
