Everything was great... Beer was a little on the warm side

My favorite place to go enjoy food drinks. The back has a lounge area with couches, shuffle board and darts which makes for a great place to have a group gathering.

This is a service industry bar. They serve lots of regulars as well. There's a little edge to the staff, but I have always enjoyed it here. The food is great and the drinks are fine.

I literally just walked out of there. I wanted to get a quick bite while my daughter was out with her friends, but was unable to do so. The Scruffy, salt and pepper beard man behind the bar looked in my direction 3 different times and never approached me as I sat at the bar with a menu in my hand trying to decide what to order. Once he finally decided to approach me he said you ok down here. Not hello I'm.... Are you ready to order, can I help you with something but it wasn't what he said but how he said it. His tone told me everything I needed to know, and out the doorI went after sitting for ten minutes and watching him watch me.... Horrible they don't like my kind or at lease he doesn't. My kind meaning black

Wrong vibes with this place. Food and drink are fine. My issue is that they stereotype. It’s 2024, why do you need to hold my credit card behind the bar? You are using an Aloha POS, there is no reason that you need to do that. That’s a register that can handle a complete pre-auth. It really feels bad when the patrons around you at the bar were NOT asked to hold their credit card. I made sure to ask them. Also, the gray bearded man forgot to get my credit card when I tabbed out and had to go back to get it…so it’s not your normal policy.
