Umeko Sushi Grill - Plano

Most izakaya in my area are pretty straight forward...but this place has a different feel. I can't explain it but the tempura mix was good. Sushi was good. Server even talked me into a Quail egg shot which I've never seen before but it was great!

A fun spot for late night meals! If you’re craving authentic Japanese food then this is the place to go. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, I highly recommend their eggplant in garlic sauce with sticky rice, it’s delectable!

Delicious open-late Izakaya with many options for sushi and other Japanese dine-in eats. Staff were very polite, attentive, and respectful and the food was amazing! Strongly recommend their volcano roll (pictured with all those scallops on top . Will be back, especially when it's midnight and the cravings hit!!

Went here for 1/2 price sushi on Sunday. Yes 1/2 price sushi!! Just keep in mind it is a select menu you can choose from on Sundays for the 1/2 price. We also ordered chicken lo mein to go with our sushi for two. Sushi was very well made and tasted fantastic. The lo mein had lots of flavor and liked the great mix of veggies inside the dish. Service was pleasant enough. Will definately come back!!

Very good.variety of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Attentive and friendly staff. The steak tatami was flavorful yet balanced. IMO the sushi is far.better than Kura around the corner so come here and skip the wait lines. Best part is late hours till 2am!
