Panera Bread - Plano

I used to go to this Panera regularly since it first opened. Recently, I observed some changes and they are not what I would call improvement. 1. they are a TO GO and dirve through focus. Cutlery are all plastics and no plates. All items are in paper bags. 2. open late. weekdays at 8 and weekends at 9. There are other similar places nearby and I will stop going to this place

I ordered via mobile app. I enter the drive through and proceed to wait 5-10 minutes for my food that has been ready. I see the staff just walking around. I was never greeted or even told if there was a wait. I finally honk my horn and knock on their window. Finally someone comes. Food was sitting right by the window ready. I’m not sure if their drive thru window is too tented or what. I won’t be returning to this location and do not recommend it for drive thru pick up.

I’m used to Panera being warm and cozy with comfortable seating. We walked in and I couldn’t find what I wanted on the kiosk. I won’t be coming again. They serve the food in bags even if you’re eating there. The room was cold on a cold day. People weren’t around relaxing and enjoying a slow Friday morning. Please don’t do this to another Paneras.

For some reason this panera doesn't give you the option to dine in when ordering your food at the kiosk. They have the tables and everything but they gave me my order to go. I ended up eating there anyways, but other paneras give you plates and silverware when you dine in. Food still was good.

Wayyyyyyy overpriced for what you get!A half a tuna fish salad sandwich, a bowl of soup (that much is not a full bowl), a little carton of milk and a pastry (on sale) was over $18.00 without tip! Since when did picking up a half sandwich and soup and not much else cost EIGHTEEN DOLLARS! Plus tip for just fixing it for carryout. Yikes!!Quality of the food is good, though. But, I would expect it to be for that price...Parking: Just not a lot of parking spaces for Panera. I 'm sure it 's usually just enough, but if I was meeting about 4-5 people at a usual meal time, I would worry about parking being available close to Panera.
