La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe - Plano

The staff were friendly, and the food was just what I expected from any other La Madeleine location. I tried the French Onion Soup for the first time, but it was mostly onions—about 80%—with very little broth. It was only lukewarm, and the cheese hardly melted. I wouldn't recommend that dish.

The cashier and server were very friendly. Both indoor and outdoor seating options provide the cozy environment to enjoy the pastry, coffee and autumn afternoon with friends.

My husband and I would like to share our experience at this restaurant. We have been visiting for the past five years, and Ms. Angelica has consistently been fantastic—passionate, kind, and attentive. She truly deserves recognition for her exceptional service. Our favorite dishes include the pesto pasta, chicken Caesar salad, and potato soup. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

It was my first visit to La Madeleine, which my Texan colleagues found quite amusing. The atmosphere is fast casual, with a nice attention to detail in the decor that creates a warm and cozy vibe. Although the menu is somewhat limited, everything is fresh, and the salads are made to order. The setup allows you to walk through a cafeteria line to choose your food before finding a seat. There’s plenty of seating in various areas, so you won’t feel overwhelmed by crowds or noise. It’s a great option if you’re in a rush, but charming enough to enjoy a leisurely visit. I noticed several tempting desserts that looked delightful, so I definitely plan to return and try them all!
