Kona Grill Plano

Ribeye meatballs were great although the miso mashed potatoes that came with them were dry. My wife had the blue cheese salad and said it was excellent. We both ordered prime rib and were asked how it should be cooked. We both said medium rare but it came out without hardly any red or pink the way I always thought it should be. It tasted good but the horsey sauce was not spicy at all. We both had cheesecake for desert and it was delicious. Drinks were kind of expensive and if we hadn't used the restaurant week menu, the meal probably would have cost twice as much. All in all, I would probably return for restaurant week next year but would not come otherwise.

This restaurant is charging a near premium price for nowhere near a premium value on the food. Its way too expensive for the food quality, this should be a Mid to Mid-Low tier costing restaurant and there are just so many better options at the price point that Kona grill is charging. We won't be going back.

Love our food ... service was great too ! We celebrated a special occasion , just 3 of us and enjoyed it.... Kona's always our go to place. If things stay as good as they were this time we will be back .

I frequent this Kona Grill and was surprisingly disappointed. Let's me start my saying my server was excellent. However the food was way off today. The lettuce wraps were tasteless, my macadamia chicken was dry and my companions French dip was way too saucy. This is definitely not my usual trip to Kona or I would t return as frequently.

We went for restaurant week lunch. Portions were huge! Quality was excellent!! Price was fantastic given the amount and quality of food. Service was great also. Highly recommend Kona Grill Plano for lunch, happy hour or dinner. One of the best bangs for the buck around!!
