Don's Diner - Plainville

I have been going to this small town diner for over 30 years. It looks just like it did when I was a little kid. There is not a whole lot of booths, so on a busy day you might have to wait but it is well worth it. The food comes out hot and tastes soo good. There is definitely love that is put into every dish. They are closed on Mondays. Tue to sat breakfast all day and lunch. On Sundays they are only open till 1 or 2 and they only serve breakfast.

This family belonged to Diner since 1936, Don's Diner, did a great job to satisfy my Hankering for a good breakfast. I got exactly what I needed, the server was nice and affordable.

I like to go to breakfast, they usually have good food and a lot of it. I always order Eggs Benedict if I have a chance. It was good here, I would probably order the Omelet the next time to try it. I'm going back here.

The staff was super friendly and very attentive, cozy decoration theme made me feel like I really went into the 50s/60s. I ordered an omelette that came with domestic frits, and also ordered a side of the bacon, not only the food came within minutes, but it was delicious!!! I will make this my monthly breakfast place safe!

Very good and fast stellar customer service ..food is home cook. was fed at Dons..since 1978..Jake is a fabulous Mngr/Host/ waiter.. very up to earth.like family....thks again...great job!!!
