The Broken Yolk Cafe - Plainfield

Update: After visiting four more times, it's still amazing! I've tried a variety of dishes now, including French toast, pancakes, chicken, and chicken and waffles. I’d give it a perfect 10/10—simply outstanding! They’ve also introduced a rewards program, which is a nice bonus. I’m definitely going to keep coming back!

The service was decent, but not outstanding. However, the food was absolutely incredible! My friend and I shared our meals, and both dishes were fantastic. I will definitely be returning!

We visited this restaurant for an early Mother's Day breakfast for the first time. I ordered the sweet trio, which included crispy French toast, Hawaiian sweet bread French toast, and a cinnamon pancake, along with a Moimosa flight featuring four different flavors. My husband tried the breakfast tacos. Everything we had was delicious, and the staff was incredibly nice and friendly.

Our experience here was great and the waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive! The food was delicious and beautiful. There weren't many people in the restaurant who were a little strange, as there were maybe five more tables at 1:00. You have to wear your mask to go in, but you can take it off so I can sit down. Come back!

Decided to try this place several times after driving. As soon as we entered the hostess, a warm smile greeted us immediately. It was so refreshing to go a restaurant that has no carpet on the floor, friendly and friendly staff and overall CLEAN from the blankets, tables and floors. The whole ambience says at home. The menu was plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. Everything seemed to be homemade, but if we couldn't tell. Looks like it was cooked with a lot of care. Overall it was very good, but the eggs/hash could have been a bit hotter. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.
