Clusterfork #2 - Placentia

This is a fantastic brewery to visit. I wish I had arrived a bit earlier, as I got there close to closing time. The outdoor area is lovely, but it was quite cold that night, so I chose to sit inside. They offer an excellent selection of beers and flight options.

This brewery is fantastic, offering an extensive selection of beers with ample seating both indoors and outdoors, making it an ideal spot for large groups. It's also family-friendly, which is a significant advantage! There's plenty of parking available, and the staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help you choose a beer, even allowing samples of anything you'd like to try. A food truck is on-site every day, and they host live music one or two times a week. During my latest visit today, I sampled the Will Ube Mine? and La Petite Provision (2024), both of which were delicious and unique! They introduce new flavors monthly and offer an annual membership for exclusive brews available for a limited time. The Bruery is an excellent brewery and one of my favorites in Southern California!

You're welcome to bring your own food, but they do have a food truck that is available almost every day. The beer selection is impressive, with many unique options, and a notable number have a high alcohol content. In fact, around 80% of the beer menu lists an ABV of over 10%, so be cautious—you might find those tasting flights sneak up on you! There’s also a small merchandise corner, offering t-shirts and long sleeves. Parking is plentiful, and it's a great place for kids to run around; the staff are very accommodating and patient with children. If you enjoy beer with an ABV of 10% or higher, this is definitely the place to check out!

We came to the Bruery to support our favorite food truck but left as huge fans of the beer. Since it was our first visit, the bartender was very helpful in making recommendations based on our tastes. The Mischief was bold and wonderful, and my husband loved the Check Your Schwartz. Ordering a flight is the perfect way to sample the unique beers on tap. The outdoor ambiance is wonderful, but there is some indoor seating as well. If you're looking for a chiller brewery vibe, this is it. The parking lot is massive, so no need to be concerned about finding a spot. There is only a single restroom for each gender.
