The Pizza Company - Pittsburgh

I have only tried the Philly steak and cheese hoagie at this restaurant. My colleagues are big fans of this place and regularly eat here. They particularly enjoy the Italian hoagie and pizza. Today, they convinced me to order with them and I ended up getting the Philly hoagie. It was a good size for the price of $12, but it had a unique taste that I couldn't quite place. It wasn't bad, just different. I wondered if it was some sort of artificial beef flavoring. Despite being unsure about the taste, I still enjoyed the hoagie and ate it all. I will definitely be back to try the Italian hoagie or pizza, which my coworkers speak highly of, even though I wasn't blown away by my experience.

I can never be disappointed at this restaurant! We ordered an 8-slice pizza with pepperoni, bacon, and banana peppers on half. The bacon and pepperoni were both perfectly crispy and really enhanced the flavors of the pizza. The crust was cooked to perfection as well. I am very particular about pizza, but I absolutely love this one! It is consistently delicious, which is very important to me when it comes to finding a good pizza place. We also tried the Italian hoagie and the sweet and spicy wings, both of which were equally delicious. The staff is always friendly, whether on the phone or in person. We don't mind making the drive from Bethel to pick up our food because it is always worth it!

Best pizza around, hands down! The staff and owner are all super nice. My dogs and I love the delivery driver also! We would give 10 starts if we could!

Rating: 4.6 Stars I have been eating The Pizza Company in South Baldwin for well over a decade. I came here back in the days of Tastee-Freez. Man, I miss those vanilla milkshakes and their amazing soft serve, including the vanilla soft serve dipped in blue goo! I'd get the cheese fries multiple times a month in high school. Fast forward to 32-year-old me... ...I am visiting Pittsburgh for the holidays, and my brother requested that we order some pizzas from here. We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Glad we did! Their pizza has been INCREDIBLY consistent over the years. It always has a lot of flavor, and the sauce has a nice sweetness. The dough has great taste and a nice texture. There is a slight crisp to the crust, which is great. The three-cheese blend is yummy and flavorful. They are generous with the pepperoni slices, which have great savory taste and a nice crisp. Importantly, the pizza slices have great flop. This is one of the best pizzas in Pittsburgh in my opinion, especially for the price. My only complaint would be that there can be a little extra grease at times--nothing that a little dabbing can't fix! Finally, their business website is quite nice! Furthermore, they do a great job with pick-up and following COVID-19 protocols to protect their employees and customers. Give them the business during this pandemic!

Have ordered from this location many times always solid good pizza and great breadsticks! This is our first time we ordered and we’re very disappointed in the pizza. Called and let the restaurant know and they were more than willing to make the situation better. They brought out a new pizza to us by the manager and it was much better. The customer service was handled beautifully and we appreciate their hard work. We will continue to order from this location.
