Love this place! I 've been coming here for over a decade, the crab cake special is an absolute must have! The atmosphere is nostalgic. This is 'that place ' you take friends and family to, to have nice intimate conversations over some delicious food... And the bread and dipping oil is to die for!

The restaurant has a classic atmosphere with delicious food and excellent service. I will definitely be returning! The Portobello appetizer was amazing, the greens and beans were delicious, and the veal parmesan was tender and served hot. My son enjoyed the pizza, and you could taste the high-quality cheese. I give this hidden gem two thumbs up and five stars!

My favorite Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh. The Greens Beans are the best. I love the Ritas pasta dish and the crab cakes too. Melissa is my favorite server, always efficient and super friendly. I love that you can bring your own wine. It is definitely worth waiting for a table to partake in this delicious cuisine.

We visited this restaurant on Friday for our 5th anniversary, based on a friend's recommendation, and we were truly impressed! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. We've been on the lookout for a great Italian restaurant near our home, and this is definitely IT! The dishes were authentic and delicious, and reasonably priced. We appreciated that the meal was served at a relaxed pace, allowing us to truly enjoy each course. The highlight of the evening was the tiramisu, my favorite dessert, which is often hard to find done well. Sarafino's did not disappoint - the ladyfingers had just the right amount of espresso, the custard was heavenly, and the chocolate topping was generous. While it may be busy and require a wait for a table inside, opting for an outdoor table in nice weather is a peaceful alternative with equally good service and food. We will definitely be returning soon!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we are completely won over! The servers were warm and courteous, the atmosphere was great, and the authentic Italian food was delicious. It felt like stepping into my mother-in-law's kitchen from the past. The waiting area could use some improvement, as we felt a little cramped, but in a true Italian kitchen (at home), you are typically crowded so it was okay. Be sure to try the greens and beans dish and set aside your carb diet because this is the place to indulge! We will definitely be returning.
