Obey House Tavern - Pittsburgh

Last really good neighborhood tavern. The owners live upstairs and take good care of the place, and one of the owners is the chef. Food is really pretty good. Especially the pizza. Now no smoking!! Nice place in the back garden for smokers with a picnic table. Bottled beer only, but they've got a good selection. Very reasonably priced.

This place is a gem! Friendly staff, friendly people and a building with more history than it should be able to hold. It ain't no Fern Bar, that's for sure. If you know how to behave at a neighborhood bar then this is the place for you no matter what neighborhood you are from.

Nice place to go have drinks and listen to karaoke and the regulars can really sing! A man came up from Virginia just to sing there 8/20/2021

I used to go there a long time ago with my husband but he's his past and now I went out there with my friend and it seems okay it don't seem like the same bar because it's not serious I just see it we didn't stay very long it's okay my uncle used to draw pictures for the house his name was Jim Dugan nice to see I wish I would have had his photos I think it was the original owners that had his picture I wish I could get hold of them to get a hold of those pictures

This is an old neighborhood bar that is there forever, but it is a decent place to hang with friends for some appetizers and pizzas. The service was excellent-two very nice ladies served us-very friendly, helpful and friendly. The place was very quiet for a Thursday evening-almost too quiet- a little noise from a TV or music on low would be good. We ordered a pizza that was very delicious with a beautiful crust and we had the fried Dill Pickle chips and also chicken nuggets that were excellent and a very nice portion size of both. The beer was cold and good, and they have served expert Softdrinks Coke and Pepsi products with a glass of ice perfect! Very nice people to talk, and we plan to go back to taste other food, we hear the tacos are the best around! Nice place to just relax with family and friends. It is very dated inside, but clean and tidy. I am very happy to go back very soon.
