Legends Eatery - Pittsburgh

When we arrived, the hostess asked if we needed our wine opened. After I pointed out that it had a screw top, she loudly exclaimed “cheater wine” as we were being led to our table. To top it off, we were charged an $8 corkage fee simply because the waitress provided us with two wine glasses. The poor rating stems from our experience, which felt more like that of a diner than a fine dining restaurant. Our entrées were served before we had even finished our salads, and the waitress constantly interrupted our conversations to ask how we were doing. The acoustics were dreadful; we heard the specials repeated about four times as other guests were seated. Despite there being plenty of empty tables, we felt rushed throughout our meal. Additionally, we were surprised to see a 10% “Supply Chain Disruptions” service fee added to the bill, on top of the already excessive corkage fee. In total, we faced an additional $17 in fees. While the food was enjoyable, the overall experience left a very sour impression.

Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Italian restaurants we’ve ever visited! The service was prompt, and the staff were fantastic. I highly recommend them!

We were in PIT to see our Braves play the Pirates. It was my husband's birthday. We were driving around to familiarize ourselves with the area and just happened to find Legends. The server was so nice and kept refilling our raspberry tea. Thank you for a great meal and wonderful service .
