Ihop - Pittsburgh

Despite being severely understaffed with only two people working, the restaurant provided attentive service and the food was exceptional. The chef even took the time to personally speak with us while also helping to bus tables. The hostess, who also served as our waitress, was very kind.

I met a friend for breakfast at this restaurant and was a bit anxious after reading some reviews. I want to note that it was a weekday morning. We were promptly greeted, seated, and served coffee quickly. When my friend arrived, our server took our orders and our food arrived promptly and hot. The restaurant started to get busier, but our waiter checked in to ensure everything was good and brought us the bill. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. I will definitely return.

We arrived at the restaurant and had a 10-15 minute wait for a table, which was not a problem as it was close to the estimated time. However, once we were seated, things quickly went downhill. We waited 15 minutes for a server to take our drink orders, which was frustrating especially with a hungry child. Another customer who was seated after us received their coffee within 30 seconds, which the server explained was because a cook was also serving. Despite the server apologizing for the wait, it was not fair for us to wait so long without even getting our drinks. The server eventually took our drink and food orders together, which was appreciated. The drinks arrived within 3-4 minutes and the server mentioned that the food wouldn't take as long. Overall, the experience improved once we had our drinks and the server was friendly.

The service was excellent and these Texas French toast were amazing. the customer service was very warm and thoughtful for my daughter and wife. further to maintain it. we thank them. my wife loved her huh and pancakes. we're coming back. child-friendly: my daughter loved it. they were very nice to her and made sure that she had her painting template for her entertainment. parking space: spacious.

On Sunday, sitting somehow the hurry and were sitting fast. our server was polite and helpful, but had a lot on her teller. I think there were only 2 servers? I felt bad, she apologised for everything that took so long, but everything was delicious. absolutely perfect to take the children for a meal I didn't have to do!
