Giant Eagle Bakery - Pittsburgh

In Marietta, Ohio, the employees at this restaurant were quite disrespectful and rude. Some of them could benefit from improving their people skills and learning how to interact with customers more politely.

It's always crowded, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's because the checkout process takes forever due to the shortage of open registers and staff. Additionally, the selection is quite poor. There's only one aisle for frozen foods, or two if you include the aisle for ice cream and desserts. I ended up leaving the store without purchasing anything, but thankfully, there’s a beer distributor next door that made the trip somewhat worthwhile.

The selection here is somewhat limited, and I know that since it's a smaller store, I can't expect to find everything I need. I often notice at least one item in the produce section that's moldy or rotting, and the fresh herbs are frequently picked over. Checking out is never a pleasant experience either. Most of the cashiers seem preoccupied with their own tasks and don't give proper attention to customers. Additionally, I can't help but notice that I often catch glimpses of employees’ underwear or their bare skin, which shouldn't be happening in a workplace. We try to use the self-checkout to save time, but there are often issues with coupons or scales that require us to hunt down an employee for assistance. This shouldn’t be how it is. While we shop here out of necessity, the experience leaves much to be desired.

It's at the Waterfront so it's convenient since I'm working down here. Lots of parking it an older building I've been spoiled by the market district stores. The food in the hot deli looked really dry but I purchased the ribs and they were really good. They had a special 3 ribs,a side and drink for &6.99 and it was filling. The salad bar looked pretty good to and they had a little dining room to eat in. I'll be back tonight

The meat department is terribly disappointing. The so-called butchers should really be embarrassed by their work.
