Either the queso of elote gave us mild food poisoning. no one was in here on a sat evening at dinner time, kinda strange. we frequent the one in ross park so hoping that it has better quality food. the elote tasted great and i’d say the tacos were good (not great). food comes out fast.

I literally never give anyone 5 stars even when it’s good nothing is perfect. But this place. Yeah it is a 10/10

In town for a chess tournament and decided to check this place out. Tacos were crazy delicious. The meats were prepared really well. The black beans were srsly the best black beans I've ever had in my life. Amazing. . . but then . . . the nachos came out. Yellow, gloopy, glow-in-the-dark, neon, movie theatre cheese. <sigh> . . . c'mon guys, it doesn't take a lot to make some decent, house-made queso. Very disappointed. Tried two bites of the nachos and we left them there. Bottom line: if you come here, have tacos and black beans. Avoid the nachos or queso. hashtagnobueno

I've gotten food here probably a dozen times and it is consistently great. Always fresh and delicious. I stopped getting tacos anywhere else because you just can't beat this place.

I paid cash and wasn’t given any change. It would be one thing to ask “would you like any change back?” But assuming that my change is just a tip isn’t ok. I’m not gonna be that guy that makes a big deal about it at the counter, since I still have to eat and I don’t want my food tampered with. I would have left the change in the tip jar anyway. Food was ok, but I won’t be back because of this interaction.
