Claudio's Pizzeria - Pittsburgh

Parking is very limited, and the takeout area is right by the street, but despite the few tables available, it somehow works. Initially, I felt out of place and wasn't really intending to dine in, but the friendly waiter and the wonderful food quickly changed my mind. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. This time, I opted for my favorite Italian dish, manicotti, but I definitely plan to return to try the gnocchi mentioned on their website. Don’t be put off by the exterior or the fact that they don’t serve alcohol; give this place a try! The food is fantastic!

I would give this restaurant a 4.5 out of 5 because they never answer the phone on Sundays after 8:00. Ever since I visited Claudio a few years ago, it’s become our go-to pizza spot. They offer a thin crust with perfectly balanced sauce, not too much cheese, and quality toppings. Claudio himself is a gem—he often sends me home with extra dishes that he just whipped up. Unfortunately, USC doesn't allow him to serve those anymore, but it felt like dining in your old Italian uncle’s basement, only with better food. I really love this place!

The gnocchi were absolutely incredible! They were the best I’ve ever had. The soup, bread, and chicken marsala were also fantastic. I enjoyed every single bite!

Was not there or ate there in a while, but I loved the pizza. Definitely one of the best pizza places in the area! Very recommended for those looking for a good place to eat while hanging out with a few friends. Good chill spot, too.

Claudio, Last Saturday, Great evening.....had dinner with Phillip and Karen. Wonderful food, great service. I'm referring friends from Uniontown (Jim and Marilyn). The cinnamon raisin bread lasted about an hour, next day I had to make my own. You're the best, Thanks Joeyb
