Chinatown Inn - Pittsburgh

1st time there it was really good. Went for take out once and had a terrible experience. They forgot items and did not care much. Third time there it was average. Visited again for the fourth time and it was very good this evening. Jumbo Shrimp EggRoll has been goid each time. The dinners were tasty and ftesh.

Fast service and fresh food in an interesting little historic area. The egg rolls were exceptional. Their cocktails sneak up on you. Removing one star as we were hoping some of the spicy dishes we ordered would be at a level 5 out of ten. But they weremore sweet than anything.

The food is really good the environment is relaxed. Possible the best Chinese restaurant I've been too highly recommend.

The food is pretty good, and the restaurant feels cozy and nostalgic, however the experience is a bit at arms length, impersonal and slightly rushed. As a first time diner, I would gladly come back, but most likely for takeout. Btw, the dinnerware isbeautiful.

I've moved a lot...and I've never found Pittsburgh to be good at Chinese/Japanese food in general. However, this is incredible. Every bit of my meal was fantastic. The tea, the entree (crispy spicy chicken and fried rice), and the crab ragoons. Sincemoving back up north from Phoenix, I've been disappointed a lot but this restaurant is a GEM in Pittsburgh. I'm absolutelycoming back, and I'm so grateful that the two bars nearby weren't serving food so I was pushed to come here. This surely beatbeer and burgers! Thank you so much for your delicious food!
