Bidrage med feedbackThis place is awesome! Best Papusas I've had in a very long time. Great atmosphere. Good prices. Highly recommend. The horchata was perfect as well.
The food and service were excellent. I enjoy trying new places, so this was first time. Food is specific to El Salvador. I had the appetizer yucca con chicharron. Tender pork and a root vegetable. Think pork with fries and homemade salsa to top. Main dish was fajitas de pollo. Three handmade corn tortilla shells. Street taco size which is traditional. I tried the horchata de morro. I found it refreshing. I had to look it up. It is made from plant milk and sort of reminded me of hazelnut flavored. I will definitely return to try other things. Make sure to have credit card to pay is the only other thing to think of. I did not see alcohol drinks listed either.
I've never had El Salvador food until now. What a fun and unique place. The flavors and items are a little different than Mexican fare but so good! The owner was the nicest man and we talked to him a bit about his country. It's a spacious restaurant with some nice family size tables. Reasonable prices too!I loved the pupusa I got. My husband got a steak dish #2 on their menu. Both dishes were excellent. Loved learning about the culture and food.Give them a try. It's not fancy but you'll leave full and hopefully you'll enjoy your meal like we did.
Wonderful food, people, and a clean, lively atmosphere. Will return soon!
Great food, the Chile Relleno is delicious, especially with chorizo. The papusas are tasty, my favorites are the cheese and the bean types. Service is great, and the sauces are wonderful.
