Beautifully cooked GF fish and chips with gf vinegar added. We arrived quite late in Pitlochry on an overnight stop, looked up suitable establishments on the app and saw The Plaice to Be. Cooked fresh to order with a choice of haddock or cod. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic fish and chips curry sauce, all made on site very knowledgeable man. My daughter said the not gluten free chicken nuggets were the best she’s ever had as was my gluten free fish and chips

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. My celiac husband wanted to stop here two years ago. For two years I listened to how good the food was. Now, on our honeymoon trip we needed to put in an overnight stop in Pitlochry, because he wanted to eat fish and chips. Here. At the Plaice to Be. So here we are. And the owner and staff are friendly as ever. We will come back. No question. And we will adjust our schedule to their opening ours, because it’s simply worth it. Thanks a million!

The staff knew precisely what to eat or not for my celiac child. Included battered fish, chips, onion rings, and potato fritters. My wife said the GF onion rings were some of the best she’s ever eaten full stop.
