Pitlochry Boating Station Cafe

Fantastic spot for a view of the water with free parking. We hired a kayak and enjoyed an hour paddling out on the loch. Friendly and helpful team in the cafe and deck. Would also recommend for the place as a nice quiet lookout to sit and take in the scenary (with a cuppa from the cafe)

Kayaking on a sunny afternoon was pure bliss! The kayaks were in great condition, and the service was friendly. There were also charming ducks to feed and a lovely café to enjoy while watching the water. It’s a perfect place to spend the day, suitable for all ages and skill levels.

A great spot to take a break! It features a lovely atmosphere and offers a nice selection of refreshments: excellent coffee, homemade cakes, soup, and filled baguettes.

We stumbled upon this beautiful spot and are so glad we did! It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal, drink, or ice cream by the lake, surrounded by cute ducks and swans. There are walking and cycling trails that begin right there. You can also rent boats, kayaks, or obtain fishing permits. The staff is friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. I can't wait to return!
