Lo Storno - PISTOIA

A better than average lunch at this small restaurant near the cathedral. The antipasto were memorable,the melanzana parmigiana was extremely good, but the risotto lacked somewhat. The house red was unremarkable. So a modest place who were trying.

This restaurant looks like nothing from outside, you would easily pass it by. A quick check on TA showed it passed the score-of-four-or-more test. Glad we had lunch here. The staff are really friendly. There is (limited) outdoor seating in front and also out back on Via del Giglio, where we sat. We had a very relaxing enjoyable lunch. Everything we ordered was excellent. The cacio e pepe was very good. Nice wine by the glass. Excellent service. Good value too.

Excellent food and service Even more captivating was the fact that many locals dined there — some of them regularly given the type of conversation between the waiters and a couple of guest. Highly recommended for a genuine local experience!

Consiglio vivamente questo locale, cibo veramente ottimo e di qualità, prezzi giusti e personale qualificato, disponibile e molto attento ai dettagli. Grazie a questi ragazzi abbiamo concluso la serata nel miglior modo possibile!
