Rooftop at Inn at the Pier

The unique setting, a rooftop-restaurant looking out to the Pacific Ocean at sunset is worthy. The food was adequate, the wine selection mediocre, but the SERVER at our table was the drawback on our dinner. We'll come back and hope to have a different server.

The food was very good and our server was really good.

The ambiance is wonderful. The decor is bright and cheerful but also kinda boochie. Dude paying guitar was lovely. Our server left somethings desired, just a little gruff and blah. Prices are reasonable and the champagne was good. Food was okay. Def recommend if you're looking to drink and be social:

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service at Cypress! Went in with realistic expectations, as the restaurant is located on the small rooftop patio of the Hilton Inn at the Pier. And while the atmosphere was pretty much as expected, the food was stellar and the service friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious and we cleaned our plates.
