Tarabaralla Osteria Toscana - PISA

We enjoyed Pasta Seafood, Pasta Carbonara, Pasta Bonaliase, Lasagna Ragu, Tomato Bruschetta, and Ravioli. All dishes were perfect to our taste, less salty than food in Florence. At Tarabaralla, we found good food, sidewalk views and easy prices. We returned several times during our stay in Pisa.

Such a let down for local cuisine. The pizza was over cooked and lacking in taste and flavour. The carbonara has so much salt you can’t taste anything else and the service was slow and ask for additional sauces, napkins etc twice.

We were looking for a change from pasta and pizza and this place was just perfect. Service was very friendly and fairly priced.

Beware of this tourist trap! The food is of very poor quality, service charge is 2,5 eur pp, which was the highest during our whole stay in Tuscany. We had a pizza and ragu. Pizza was undoubtedly the worst that I ever had in Italy (being there at least 15 times in different regions), ragu tasted like it was prepared from cheap ragu sauce in a jar from supermarket. At the time we were the only guests and needed to wait for at least 30 mins for the food to arrive. At the end, I needed to go to the bar to pay for the unfinished food, because the guy serving there was too busy checking on his mobile.. Never again.

We stopped by for a lunch. It was completely OK : prices are much better than in other places. If you are hungry you can eat here, just like in any other place.
