Bidrage med feedbackExcellent selection of Italian pastries made fresh every day. We both fell in love with the place. Just wished it would stay open longer.
What a wonderful friendly owner who speaks some English which was great. We stumbled across this shop and ended up staying for two glasses of Pro secco and dare I say 9 pastries between us. Shop is super clean with gorgeous yummy bite size pastries to eat. We sat outside which and watched the world go by while we enjoyed our vino and pastries. I would recommend you stop here and enjoy.
The food was great, affordable, and right on the path to the Tower. The staff was incredibly sweet and really made it all a bit magical.
On our recent 2 week holiday in Pisa, my wife and I frequently visited Pasticcerio Giordano for coffee, drinks, snacks and pastries. The couple running the bar were not only very helpful to us, but also very humourous. Although their English was limited, as is my Italian, they were a delight to speak with on each of our visits. Their coffee is superb and I only wish I had asked them for some of their beans to bring back to the UK. Also, their little pastries were delicious. It was wonderful to sit at their tables outside in the square and soak up the atmosphere as it was apparent that Piazza Gambacorti is not on the main tourist trail and is mostly populated by the local residents. On one occasion there was a charity market there which was the equivalent of an UK boot sale. See also my review of Ristorante Beny which is in the same Piazza Gamacorti.
This place is great, the service is really good and the lady on the counter very helpful and patient with us (we liked it so much that we could not decide what to order first). Great zucchini sandwiches and also good italian coffee. The best of the best was the chocolate croissant. It is a bit crowded in the morning, a lot of locals eat there before work. This place has tables outside and a little bar inside, it is a self service. When we stayed in Pisa we went there every day and I highly recommend it for a good italian breakfast.
