Witwe Bolte Restaurant Und Hähnchengrillbar

The restaurant is just on the main square of Pirna. There are cozy tables on the square(outside the restaurant). Dishes are good enough. We tried salad with mozzarella,mix of meat fried on the pan and fish with rice. Everything was super! The portions are rather large,but it is ok for one person. There is no wi-fi in restaurant,but it is not a big problem.

Nice restaurant with good regional food, friendly staff and a very nice outdoor seating area. We shared a platter for two with regional meats, sauerkraut and pan roasted potatoe which was really good. They also brew their own beer which was quite tasty. The zwicker tastes like a mix of Hefeweizen and Pilsenrr. We finished with the local speciality "quarkkaeulchen" which were also very good. Loved sitting outside enjoying the view of the old town of Pirna.

After trying to find a place to dine in Pirna on a Saturday evening we got a table at Witwe Bolte. The staff was so nice and helpful! The place has a nice atmosphere and the food was really good. Furthermore it had a great value!

We were here for lunch when visiting/passing through Pirna. There are a number of restaurants all in the same square and we chose this one as we liked the look of their menu and it was in the sun! Food was good, we both had schintzel and asparagus well we were in Germany and it was in season! Both were very good as was the service.

I came here for lunch with my wife’s uncle who has lived in Pirna all of his life. He absolutely loves the town and says he’s eaten in every restaurant. So when he picked this one I knew it would be good. It was authentic...and we both had a great meal. I had the Sachen Rostbrätl and he had Sūlze. Both were great, especially when washed down with local Radebergers.
