Bidrage med feedbackMountain chalet restaurants are usually at the top of a mountain (fair enough) and you get there after hours of trekking. This one can be reached by car up a good but twisty mountain road and a 10 minute walk across a path with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. You can then go on to enjoy a serious walk up to even more spectacular places. The restaurant serves typical local food and a lot of it. They don 't serve a pasta course as they (quite rightly) say that the 'antipasto ' is more than enough. A wonderful selection. The meat course is usually three types of meat with cheese and polenta. Veg is scarce but my friend who prefers to avoid meat was given an improvised plate of mixed veg usually used for the 'Quiche ' very much appreciated. You can sit in the traditional alpine type room or if you are lucky you can get a place on the small terrace outside and enjoy the fantastic view.
